Do you really care ?

When I’m happy and I speak a lot,
I truly hold on to what I’ve got,
Do you care to hear me out?
If yes then what was it all about?

When I’m sad and I keep mum,
Trying not feel all dumb,
Do you care to make me speak?
If yes then why do I feel shallow and weak?

When I’m anxious and nervous much,
To meet your eye and mock my touch,
Do you care to calm me down?
If yes then why am I within the level of frown?

When I’m excited and I dance around,
My gleeful voice talks to ground,
Do you care to join in?
If yes then why am I residing within?

When I’m low on esteem and blue,
My hopes fade away from my view,
Do you care to encourage me?
If yes then why don’t I feel free?

When I’m crying and fall asleep at night,
Thinking nothing’s going to be alright,
Do you care to comfort me well?
If yes then why do my tears dwell?

When I’m delighted and my smile is wide,
My thoughts can now no longer hide,
Do you care to reach out to my mind?
If yes then why am I alone in the grind?

When I’m cheery, merry and jolly,
My verses crowned with ivy and holly,
Do you care to twirl and swirl?
If yes then why am I the loner girl?

When it’s the sprinting neon city light,
Or the cold anguished frosty night,
Do you care to uphold my emotion?
If yes then why am I drawn into the ocean?

Do you really care about my ways?
Or is it only portrayed in my days?
Yes or no justifies none of us,
Do you really care – it’s a negative plus!
