Film of the eye

Sometimes i think of you,
And i wonder why,
I have an answer too,
It’s a film in my eye.

I can see our first “hi”,
And the words we exchanged,
I knew you were a nice guy,
with you nothing seemed strange.

I’d talk to you all day long
Cuz i knew you’d listen at your best,
We shared a common-man play along,
To tease us fairer than the rest.

Lost in a crowd caught up in your smile,
Eyes gage across to watch you swirl,
We surely had our renowned style,
No one knew we’re the spin-whirl.

You’d pull an all-nighter with a sleepy head,
Mocking at me in a loaded mania,
For Every tomorrow we did look ahead,
We could travel Albania to Romania!

To hear all day your currency drop,
Each time we did speak a bluff,
I wish red light never meant stop,
We could just never get enough.

Reiterating your words to my ears,
The foul ones claimed to be filled with love,
I’d laugh from my soul to all cheers,
Until we placed our misery above.

We didn’t get time to learn more,
Of each other’s ways and map,
Entitled to kisses, I do adore,
A gentleman wrapped in a lil chap.

I’d wanna steal you away and hide,
Absent from the worlds vain affair,
We’re meant to deserve a glee ride,
Instead we’ve settled with a temper flare.

Sometimes I think of you,
And i wonder why,
I have an answer too,
You’re in the film of my eye.
