It’s always a pleasure to see,
Any photograph or a DVD,
That contains a wedding in it,
More or less you must admit.
Those smiles we share on the big day,
Be it a cold London or a hot Bombay,
Each one of us reminisce that time,
Living it twice; in it and in my rhyme!
Walking down the aisle in awe of the man,
Vowing before God this magic began,
Wrapped in sublime beauty of love,
Cupid dances in joy above.
Your first dance on a special song,
Fills your bosom and nerves along,
With your radiance shining through,
Oh how you love this wide view.
The pinnacle is your glorious kiss,
It’s purity is the seal of bliss,
The one you’ve waited for all the while,
Has now vowed with you on the aisle.
A newly wed is what you are,
The burning meteor of a love star,
Lost among the tides of life,
A reminder- you have the treasure’s knife.
6 months, 6 years, or 16 years and more,
You need to unlock that treasure door,
Glance at a photograph you love the best,
You’re again a newly wed, be blest!
