First time we saw each other’s face
Last Christmas caught unending delight
Brought us together in love’s grace.
Walking inside the church with hands locked
Praying silently this lasts
It seemed like our hearts docked.
Love blessed us with beauty seen
Togetherness, we yearned for
And he made me feel like his queen.
Our first time of love affection
Drew us closer than before
Making a scar beyond perfection.
A mesmerizing ambience did replenish
Satiated our minds and hearts
For all we could see was our bond naturally embellish.
One day didn’t seem fair
Everything shattered through the skin
Simply Moulded to a finished affair.
Everything under the sun isn’t justified
Tears poured didn’t suffice
Our moments will always be mystified.
He is a gem and shall continue to be forever
We weren’t destined to be
I’d be A sailor’s maiden never.
