We’ve been so good all year long,
Not one mischief in our sleeve,
Sweetly singing the Christmas song,
Eagerly awaiting Santa this eve.
Our stockings hang upon a wall,
You see the problem is quite clear,
We have no chimney at all!
Don’t know how Santa will get in here?
We stacked up some milk and cookies,
And chopped carrots for his reindeer,
With a thank you note for all the goodies,
Placed below the tree in Xmas cheer.
And there you go Santa’s been watching,
Over the fence with his reindeer,
Our little Steve caught them popping,
Their heads in happy sheer.
They looked alert to the left and the right,
Trying to escape everyone’s gaze,
then they looked at each other’s plight,
And jumped right in to shrill amaze.
Santa and his reindeer have been around,
Little did we know he’s been hiding,
Our gifts were placed without a sound,
Despite chiming bells as Santa’s sliding.
You better watch out,
you better not cry,
you’ve gotta be nice,
I’m telling you why-
‘Cause Santa and his reindeer,
throughout the year….!
Now I know you sang those lines,
With words to match the tune,
This xmas spirit has native shines,
So C’mon say it with a kiss, say it soon!
Merry Christmas !
