Scarcity of Own-Self

I once was a little girl
Oh yes I bet you knew!
Churned up in brittle swirl
Lost among a major few.

Growing up seemed alright
As we had not much to think
And now I think I didn’t crawl right
Cause then my eyebrows wouldn’t shrink.

It’s either a tabloid or a job
That governs your greatest sphere
Of Which none you hold is why you sob
Because people don’t let you fit in here.

Your courage and might may not last long
As its Caught amongst the thorns
This is like a rose with no song
Yet the petals are what the world adorns.

It gets hard to gamble in a loss
But I try hard to sustain
I feel scourged to life’s toss
My one hope continues to reign.
