When I see you smile through your skin,
I feel like my day is through,
It’s your smile that’s chaste within,
It makes my heart spring anew.
When I learn your gloomy blues,
I’d try making you feel any better,
But, if I fail with a scarred bruise,
I’d curb my heart and solely fetter.
When I see you gaze at me in faith,
I wish you were beside me to hold,
Every star would envy our estate,
Every mould to love would unfold.
When you speak to me in delight,
I’d ask for nothing more to waive,
To wander in the shadows of the night,
Behold, a love I’d daily engrave.
When I look to the stars and miss your presence near,
I’d only feel your gentle touch,
Sometimes at night when I think of you my dear,
I’d whisper to winds, I love you much!
