I’ve always wondered about the staff room,
The secrets the wall beholds,
Well, now I’ve known the mystery consume,
Whilst every teacher solemnly unfolds.
Competitive spree is at the tip,
All of them want to prove best,
Some of them sweetly flip,
Assuring confidence above the rest.
Gossip is something every lady sings,
Melodious to the tunes they hear,
Some stories lead to sitcom kings,
And the rest view ‘em in sheer endear.
Diplomacy is seen across the end,
It’s the bitter sweet smile that sways,
Every week makes unfolding amends,
Their passion runs all through the days.
