Chitter chatter across the hallways,
With questions and answers running down,
Speaks of the most common task as always,
It’s the exam season visiting town.
Each student trembles in fear,
Hoping for an easy paper to answer,
As deceiving as can be, the paper is clear,
Making their minds a messy dancer.
Whispers in each class swoosh around,
It’s either a grumble or a talk,
Pale faces make your surround,
Urging them quietness or an outside walk.
The week of exams put every one at bay,
Competitors spirit is the visual eye,
it’s the exam arrival that decides the day,
We relate because one day that was I.
