Bracing through the dual painted walls,
Reminiscing the yester years long due,
Stepping into a foyer that calls,
Each student for an assembly Que.
I recollect my eagerness present,
To say a prayer, pledge or the anthem,
Turns saw us in a moon crescent,
Tis scene belongs to the year of phantom.
The toddlers pace in high spirits around,
They have smiles when they look at you,
Greeting you each day in a happy surround,
Gives me a mirror image of myself in few.
Notorious kids hush quicker than others,
While the Smart ones simply follow,
Raiding the corridors with dusky smothers,
I feel I’m reliving this in a joyous wallow.
