Classic brown with a transparent dial,
Enveloped in a stone surround,
Ticking away as i take a trial,
Admiring its placement crowned.
As he placed the box onto my lap,
Covered in white wrap and ribbon blue,
He unwrapped it in gentle clap,
Displaying a box so anew.
I gave him my hand with eyes in wonder,
As he helped me wear it in kind,
He cast the spell and i was under,
Now I’m writing whats on my mind.
We met for the first time,
First time exchanged pleasant dues,
Mesmerised me in rhythm n chime,
The first time saw sweet amuse.
A Kenneth Cole can make magic spark,
It saw us entwined in churned spree,
I liked to see the watch embark,
God have mercy on such as ‘We’.
I’d wear it almost every where,
And gladly nod at the attention it received,
As it danced at the glistened sun’s glare,
The watch placed a string conceived.
