Unspoken Child

Born in the beauty of the earth
A soul of a lil girl
Inspired by a woman’s birth
A small shining pearl.

Grams of flesh on each hand that carried
Long fingers and a smiling dimple shone
Thoughts of each portrayed in words varied
Beautifully seen as one of god’s own.

As she grew into a young kid
Little did she know her world was a bubble
Fascinated by her sights’ bid
Her curiosity was a redouble.

Age 5 pushed her out of the family in disguise
Her eyes see terror in the house
Her lil soul saw chastise
She couldn’t even grouse.

Age 7 saw her fingers broken
For a math problem she couldn’t solve
Frightened of her father’s splendid token
Till date she carries her fingers unresolved.

Anxiety submerged her in agony everyday
Little did she know whats’ a fathers love
Distance crept in, in every small way
Yet she longs to be her fathers dove.

Teenage seemed dissolved in books
Nights and days in horrid fights
Quietly sat a girl with unknown looks
Quietly the loneliness bites.

Eyes envied other daddy’s girls
Lips uttered silence through
She only wished to be her daddy’s swirl
But nothing ever saw this come true.

As she grew to a woman in time
She believed she had to be alone
Today can see her as a soul in chime
Today she lives in an unknown zone.

Agony beat her smiles with victory
Tears overtook her joy
There still waits a girl contradictory
To her being in endless coy.

Distance has grown in fonder tune
Words no longer speak
An unspoken child in hope of attune
Someday daddy will understand her bespeak.
